RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Returns will be honored within 14 days of purchase with original receipt, for exchange or store credit only, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. Returned merchandise must be unused, in original condition, and, where applicable, in the original gift box with all warranty cards and instruction booklets intact. All returns and exchanges must be approved by management. Certain sale items are not-returnable. A re-stocking charge may be applicable to certain items.
SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE, EXCHANGEABLE OR REFUNDABLE. Special orders are defined as: 1) Any non-inventory purchase, 2) Any stock item custom made or altered at customer’s request (i.e. sizing). A minimum deposit of 50% is required at the time of order and is not refundable.
All watches that are overhauled and cleaned are warranted for one year from the date of delivery unless otherwise designated. The warranty does not cover watches which have been abused, tampered with, or if the watch shows signs of rust resulting from water damage. We are not responsible for worn or broken parts, which were not necessary to replace at the time of the overhaul. There are no warranties on crystals, stems or crowns, or watchbands. Once a water resistance watch has been opened to change the battery, it may no longer retain its water resistance properties. Morgan’s does not warranty any water resistant watch against leakage unless it has undergone a pressure-test after a battery change. There is additional time needed and extra fees for this service. Proof of appraised value on any item in for repair is the responsibility of the customer to provide, if needed. Morgan’s Jewelers assumes no responsibility for Color or Clarity enhanced gemstones. Only the specific repairs performed are covered. Problems resulting from inherent flaws, abusive or excessive wear, customer negligence or accidental damage are not covered. Morgan’s Jewelers reserves the rights to designate some repairs as non-warrantable and will so inform the customer before the work is done. Morgan’s Jewelers reserves the right to determine if a problem is covered by warranty and to choose the course of corrective action. This store is not responsible for articles left over 90 days. No articles delivered without proper receipt. We will gladly clean and inspect your jewelry free of charge. It is recommended this be done at least twice a year.
Most items may be put on layaway for up to 6 (six) months. A minimum deposit of 25% is required. There must be monthly payments activity and the item must be paid for in full by the end of the layaway period. Layaways which extend past 6 (six) months are subject to a 1% surcharge per month on the balance due. The original deposit and any subsequent payment WILL NOT BE REFUNDED, but may be used toward the purchase of other merchandise. Layaways canceled after 30 days may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
